Hello!

Summer is here! I hope this finds everyone well!

Warm weather is here and the rain continues, we have had a lot of rain in North-west Ohio. I hope no one else feels like they are floating away! I feel like I need to start building a boat! Where Noah when you need him!

In this newsletter you will find a note from our President Al Sidell, the minutes from our Summer Picnic meeting. I have also included our membership list again, and the applications for our Youth representatives. We had 2 youth representative applications. The first one was from Nicole Mitchell, the second from Emilee Edwards. Both girls are awesome candidates. Also, the current Trophy Sponsors from Theresa Shively.

I have it updated and revised our current members list with our newest member Steve Swander. (Please check the list, try to keep me updated on your email addresses and other information. We send several emails around so if you would like to be in the "loop" please email me your address.)

Thank you, Al and Maria Sidell for hosting our summer picnic. We had a great turn-out and the food was FABULOUS as usual! We had a meeting, and voted for our Youth Rep. Congratulations Emilee Edwards! Along with our Chinese Auction, we had a lot of great prizes.

Ohio State Fair Meeting will be held at the hospitality room on the green wall on Friday August 8,2008 at 10:00am. Please plan to attend the meeting. We will be nominating officer and decide Fall outing. Officers up for election this year are President, Clydesdale Trustee, and Treasurer. Also, it was decided a our picnic meeting that we will have a "hospitality stall". The stall will be near Sam and Angie Borck. We will have breakfast foods on Thursday, lunch items, snacks and beverages, as well as meats (Sloppy Joes and Turkey/Chicken) going in a crock pot both Thursday and Friday of the Fair. Please plan to stop by and say "hi", have some snacks and hang-out with us. We are trying this for a year to see how well it works, due to the lack of the Hospitality room last year.

We are looking for a place, time and volunteer for our Fall Outing, please contact President Al Sidell ASAP for your ideas and input. 419-680-9180

The Lancaster Celtic Committee is looking for a Clydesdale to be present for a breed display. On May 16, 2009, to be held at trher Fairfield County Fair Grounds Lancaster, Ohio. Contact Paul Irwin (740-681-1170) if you can help them out
